Hi I’m Sawsan (s-ow-sin). I am interested in how private markets can accelerate civilizational prosperity. 

I’m currently: 
• a Fulbright scholar studying bioethics & applied philosophy at Harvard University
• writing about startups and private markets at Contrary Research
• hosting VC events with the Biotech x Innovation Forum @ Harvard

In a past life, I: 
• was a competitive debater. Represented Canada. 🇨🇦
• spent long nights in the lab manning a mass spectrometer
• helped build the world’s largest interstitial lung disease database
